Basic Life Support 

This Instructor led Course of Basic Life Support reflects the new science updated in the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines. The BLS course covers pre-hospital and in facility scenarios, while focusing on high-quality CPR, team dynamics, choking for adult, child, and infant.

During the video portion of the course, students will have the opportunity to practice 1 rescuer and 2 rescuer hands on skills with the new feedback assistant manikins under instructor evaluations. Equipment includes, but not limited to adult, children, and infant feedback assistant manikins, bag valve masks (BVM), disposable single use mouthpiece, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Trainer, and more. All equipment provided by STAT Training Solutions. Students must also pass the multiple choice exam to successfully complete the course and receive completion course card.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to identify life-threatening emergencies and correctly apply skills of high-quality chest compression, appropriate ventilations, and early AED intervention. Digital course completion e-cards will be issued to the student's email.
